OCEAN ICE BREAKING GIANT...
OCEAN ICE BREAKING GIANT...
We all know that the polar regions of the world have very
cold climates and there are things like icebergs and Glaciers. The presence of
these ice sheets posed severe difficulties for human transportation. As a
solution to this, man introduced an “ice breaker ship” to the world. With the
rapid advancement of technology, we are all amazed at the inventions that have
emerged. How can a man who removes all obstacles from himself not remove the
obstacles that come from this ice? From here we ask about ice breaking ships.
These ships use petrol, diesel and nuclear power. Only Russia has nuclear power again. They say that nuclear power is expensive but that it can sail with more power and longer time. Using nuclear power, an icebreaker can travel across ice at speeds of up to 12 miles per hour. Also in ice-free water, its speedometer is recorded at 24 miles per hour. “VEGARCH” and “TEMIYAR” are examples of ice breaking ships in shallow water.
During the winter, the thickness of the north pole ice
changes from time to time. But the fixed values range from (1.2 to 2.0) meters
and between (3.9 feet and 6.5) feet. The world’s largest ice breaker ship is
the “ROSATOM”. It is owned by Russia. The world’s first ship to reach the north
pole was the Arctic. Two ice-breaker ships have paved the way for the ship’s
passage. It is therefore a peculiar matter.
This ship, unlike ordinary ships, has a unique technology and shape. The bow is round and shaped like a bow. In contrast to the wind, power can be maximized. When submerged in ice, smooth surface textures remove the ice from the ship. It is also coated with a special type of paint called “politer” for the safety and durability of the hull.
Ice breakers are used not only to break ice, but also to
rescue people stranded in the ocean, such as oil spills and sudden fires from
ships for the purpose of tourism. Many icebreakers use a helicopter parking
yard.
