COELACANTH FISH THAT DIED AND CAME BACK TO LIFE...

Today we take you back to the Jurassic era. That is, to a unique aquatic creature that has been living today for 66 million years. This vertebrate belongs to the genus “Animalia” and the subfamily “Actinistia”. As the title of the record fish is killed in the popularity of the fish life again. That is, with the discovery of the fossil of this fish by scientists. But unexpectedly, in 1938, the fish was spotted by a group of fishermen off the coast of South Africa. Further tests confirmed that the fossil fish was still alive.

An adult coelacanth fish weighs between 90-100 Kg. They can also be 5 to 6 feet long or larger. Also, this fish lives at a depth of 600-1200 feet above sea level and often finds its prey at night. This fish can also be described as an animal that does not like to stand out.

Coelacanth fish change body shapes and swimming patterns in the water from time to time. But it can never change its body color. Their distinctive feature is the ability to utilize the skull joints and widen the jaws of the mouth so that the prey can be easily eaten. Coelacanth females also choose only one mate throughout their lives. This is one reason why the speed of breeding of their species is slowing down.

One of the main enemies of this fish is the “shark”. Using his belly as a tactic to escape from them, he turns back and swims fast. It frustrates the invader. Very rarely conflicts with sharks. But never conflicts with his race. This particular fish has a lifespan of more than 80 years, and some believe that it can live a long time if not attacked by an enemy.
